“Moss agate — a stone of rooted beginnings and quiet growth.”
There is a quiet kind of work that happens this time of year.
Winter is still holding on in small ways, but you can feel the shift beginning. The light lingers a little longer in the evenings. The air softens. Something beneath the surface is preparing to grow.
I’ve always loved this space between seasons.
It reminds me that not all growth is visible right away. Some of the most important changes happen quietly — beneath the soil, in the dark, where roots begin to form.
Lately my own life has felt a bit like that.
Small ideas taking shape.
Creative energy returning in gentle waves.
A deeper trust in slow, meaningful growth.
I’m learning again that not everything needs to happen quickly. The most lasting things rarely do.
Some things ask us to move slowly.
To listen.
To tend the soil before expecting the bloom.
Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing something I’ve been quietly creating for this new season — a small offering inspired by this exact energy of planting, grounding, and beginning again.
But for tonight, I’m simply honoring the quiet work.
The roots forming.
The seeds waiting patiently in the dark.
Spring always arrives in its own time.
Affirmation
I trust the unseen work unfolding in my life. What is meant to grow will grow.
